I wonder if any of the suggested improvements that users have sent in will make it to the new implementation.
Stan Klein and I have submitted a few. We have always received 'thank you for your suggestion...' acknowlegements from USNO for our inputs. So someone is listening. But it's hard to know if, in the end, they go into some bit-bucket or they actually keep track of them with the intent of implementing the better ones.
