Off the top of my head, the only information hosted on the Astronomical Application site that "is not accessable via (other) means" is the Celestial Navigation Data calculator. Several months ago I asked about an offline version (perhaps rolled into MICA) and they simply pointed me towards NavPac.
It'll be a shame to see that data basically disappear behind a paywall for six months (and hopefully it will come back), but I get the feeling the USNO is conscious of not doing anything to disrupt the commercial celnav software market.
