Interesting... 1907, huh? I wonder what era had the highest number of "underwater bell" sounds? Could it have been as long ago as the Second World War? The name changed, and I'm thinking of sonar "pings", but it's the same idea...

Of course, you have to be careful with active sonar. It's deadly! Hell's bells.
