Thanks for the warning. When there is an eclipse there are plenty of warnings and I suppose that I should treat this the same. I will resist the temptation to get out my AH. What impressed me last night was how sharp the image was - it would have been very easy to touch limbs.
The sun is almost back to normal this morning so I am not worried that it is becoming a red giant.............
