David P thanks for that piece of rational thought. If Tighar (spelling?) concentrates on Earhart rather than her navigator then that sugggests to me that the Princess Earhart concept is more important to them than the facts. Particularly facts presented by experienced navigators. To suggest that the Howland Island stage was poorly planned will surely upset Tighar members?
Does Tighar have any members with similar experience to to yourself, Howard and Gary?
