Below are my Moon-Aldebaran shots taken on January 21, 2018.
The work setup could not have been better. The viewing area was quite open, very clear and dark sky. I used the hood of my car as a work table. Propping up my Sansung tablet with Frank's GPS Anti Spoof Pro timer running. It also illuminates my notebook for recording sights. Could lean on the car to steady my arms while taking sights.
In this series, I used my Astra IIIB sextant with 7x35 scope. It's much lighter than my C&P Horizon and easier to manouver and hold in the odd positions that taking a lunar often requires.
