Hello!
After reading the article about the "dead reckoning" the vikings could use - I prepared this "sun-compass" to try it on 2018-04-21 at my ~60°N latitude.
Unfortunately the wather conditions were very unfavourable. I will re-try next weekend (with an updated drawing).
