I had an inquiry from a NavList lurker recently:
"I am looking for documents written by Jules Dumont D'urville describing the two voyages of the Astrolabe in 1826 and 1837 to the South Pacific, in the original French. There were apparently really lengthy series of books that he published in France after each of these voyages but I can't find them anywhere online. Do you know how I could find or access these, or any other writing in original french associated with these voyages?"About the "Astrolabe": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_ship_Astrolabe_(1811). Note that this vessel was named after the other "Astrolabe" --not the same vessel!
