Hi Tony,

You may have heard WWVH from Hawaii. That station uses a female voice to distinguish it from the male voice on WWV.

I think there was some talk about ceasing transmissions during one of the budget kerfuffles here in the USA, but I don't think anything came of it. Their home page is here:
