Message to Michael Bradley (sorry, I do not have a personal email address.) Thanks again for the heads up on the Kelvin Hughes. I actually won the auction, much to my surprise. Good condition except for the horizon mirror which needs re-silvering. ( hoping for advice from Bill Morris).I got an appropriate refund from the vendor. This has been well used and not the most perfect work of art compared to top Japanese and German makes, but I am now the proud owner of a classic 1961 British Sextant to be friends with my 1960s Royal Enfield motorcycle!. My wife thinks both are worthless boy's toys, which they are! But hey, they help keep me alive! I will test it against the Astra B when I have sorted the horizon mirror.
