    If you enjoyed the Greenwich Meridian link I posted, you will love this one A Guide to Coordinate Systems in Great Britain (pdf). I don't claim to understand more than about a third of it, but it looks very impressive lying around the office. It's a bit long, so if you just want to see an example of the same lat & long corresponding to three different spots depending upon the datum used, just turn to page 6. DaveP
