Re-reading the posts on the Orion North Arrow, I see that if you are at 20 d S and looking at a termite mound then the north pole would be 20 d below the horizon. As the photo does not show the horizon but is pointed up I estimated the mound is north east ( not north ).
Let us know the correct answer. Thanks.
