I suspect that if a lightning strike fried your watch, there wouldn't be much of you left to shoot celestial in any case. However, you could always keep a couple of the cheapest Cassios you can buy plus one of your 8 GPSs inside a tin box. Then, like yesterday, all your troubles would seem Faraday. DaveP
