Geometry, Meteorology, don't forget Geology.  One might assume that each turbine hole will have been seabed surveyed.  There wouldn't be much sense planting a tower on poor base rock just to make the surface mosaic perfect.  Also, one must be cautious that some advertisements are not collages created or at least tweaked in the graphic art studio.  E.g., try working out what’s going on here  https://www.belgianoffshoreplatform.be/en/ .  I’m still trying to decide.  DaveP
