Please note that I am not suggesting that the solstice occurred at 0100 UT. Rather that is the time the photo was taken, which was during the approximately 21 hour period when the sun's dec was 23° 26.2'. 0100 UT was about 0040 PM local apparant time so you can make an educated guess where the sun is.
