We have been in Valletta Harbor(35d 54.3N  14d 31.8E) for 15 days.
All repairs are completed. We are stocked with food and water. The
water tank has been welded at a crack at the supply fitting. A splice to
the Knotmeter wire has been sealed and routed above the bilge. We must
now do our planning for the trip to Port Said(31d 15.0'N 32d 15.8'E)
and our trip down the Suez Canal.

Looking at the Chart we see that Masabb Dumyat(31d 30.1'N 31d 50.0'E)
will be our first landfall on the Egyptian coast.

On 02/06/96 @ 09-30-44 ZT we take departure fix Bearing(259d) on a Point
(35d 52.5'N  14d 28.1'E)  and a Bearing(212d) on a Hill
(35d 50.5'N  14d  32.7'E). Var 0dW, Dev 4E.

7)  Based on a height of a hill at 258 Meters is Malta still

Feet LOA. 38 Feet LWL; Cutter rigged. Looks a lot like a Mason. Can tack to
45d. Dist to Horizon: Nmi = SQRT HE@mtrs x 2.07; Nmi = SQRT HE@ft x 1.17.
