I thought I’d better check on the whereabouts of XS714 http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&p=307970 lest someone came calling for the return of the sextant mount. Regrettably, she ended up being used for fire practice at the Fire Training Centre at RAF Manston, Kent. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cd37901_transport_pics/5195615374/ . It’s always a pity seeing such a pretty aeroplane reduced to this state, despite the valuable task she’s performing. I hope Zephyr never ends up in that condition. Dave
