Dear Frank,
Thank you for confirming the typo there.
I personally love my Casio fx-85ESPlus, which allows for "natural"-looking formulas to be entered. The cos(HA) = sin(Alt)/[cos(Dec)·cos(Lat)] - tan(Dec)·tan(Lat) looks nicer on it as I can use the "fraction" button for the first part of the formula. A more beautiful formula always gives more precise results. :)
If I put the "°" sign after the closing bracket of the acos() function - acos(.......)°, I get really nice-looking results in DMS format.
Thank you again!
Warm regards,
Tony
