Alan - Circular slide rules are still being made and easily available from places like Amazon. Look up "Concise circular slide rule"
For fun, I use one of these with a Polhemus circular slide rule to compute altitude correction for MOO and MOB. I can do the simple multiplies in my head but it's still fun pulling out the slide rule to check.
