I haven't heard back from Celestaire yet, but the 6 x 30 Cassens & Plath telescope fits perfectly on my AstraIIIb using a single split washer that I found in my shop. The washer drops perfectly into the round depression on the telescope's support arm, and the washer's hole fits perfectly over the retaining bolt. The 3.5 x 40 telescope works fine with that washer too, so I can leave the washer on the bolt, simply swap telescopes, and re-check the index error. Celestaire might want to consider shipping that telescope with a stainless steel version of such a washer.
