This is my final response to Frank Reed's original post 11183.

First, thanks to Irv Haworth, for his understanding, and forgiveness.

Secondly, my 11167 post explained how none of the parties in the first section of George H's 11090 post were named by him. This was the direct cause of my misunderstanding of who was saying what, and in what context. I hope it is clear from reading 11167 that was an easy mistake to make, and that it had nothing to do with my ability to interpret emails.

That said, I would like to acknowledge that George H, has a keen intellect and depth of knowledge over a wide range of topics and that he has made a great many contributions to this list. I am sorry my analysis of his 11090 post seemed unkind.

I offer a general apology to everyone whose sensibilities I have offended.
