A couple of notes on the changes:
--There is no longer any distinction between linked and attached files, and you do not need to worry about sending large attachments to messages since files will be stored online or "in the cloud" as they say. Messages will first display a reduced size preview of any image attachments with a click-through link to the original file. Don't get too carried away, of course. There is still some small expense for storage.
--We are no longer using freelists.org as an intermediary for message distribution. If you have any addresses for freelists.org in your email software, you should remove them. Of course, the standard address for emailing NavList messages remains NavList[at]fer3.com.
--Messages posted on the message boards now appear instantly and are not dependent on any emailing stage. This slightly alters the "balance of power" between NavList members who post to the message boards and those who participate by email. If you're need instant gratification or are otherwise a NavList "junkie", you can get a quicker fix from now on via the message boards at fer3.com.
