The Slope can be a real help on Accuracy especialy on hard to steady equipment
in rough sea. At one time I thought I was the only one using a slope to inprove my fix, until I read Davids fine work on the subject. The scar (gyro, bubble) gear aboard a sub is very difficult to steady and shoot the results with an average (as the book suggest) is always a bad fix..
