Hello all. Due to a number of issues, I am considering moving the email services for NavList to a different server. For those of you who follow NavList entirely through the message boards at fer3.com/arc, you would experience almost no changes and probably would notice nothing. Those of you who participate entirely by email (or by email and sometimes by visiting the message boards at fer3.com) would also experience almost no changes. The posting address would change from NavList@fer3.com to NavList@xxx.xxx --I'll let you know what the xxx.xxx is when and if this change happens. Also, message numbers would be visible only on the message boards and in a message header in each email so you would not have the security of seeing the numbers in each subject line, but if this is really critical to anyone I can set you up with some software to read the message headers and keep track of numbers for you. Finally, there are some of you who actively use the googlegroups web page for NavList. If you're one of those, please tell me what features you use there that you do not find on fer3.com/arc. If it's just habit, well, you'll learn a new habit. But if there's some specific value you find on those boards, I will try to make sure that you don't lose that. I prefer to hear from all of you on this topic by off-list email: FrankReed[AT]HistoricalAtlas.com. This is not a rule, just my preference. -FER -- NavList message boards: www.fer3.com/arc Or post by email to: NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList+@fer3.com
