Alex, It was my habit to ship my sailing gear and sextant (I sometimes took my own life raft and tools) home after a delivery trip. Very often a leg or horizon shade would be broken in the shipment home when using the original wooden box. I switched to using an airtight foam filled plastic box similar to the one from Celestaire and have not had any problems since. All the best, Robert Gainer _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
