See if you can find a copy of the "PPM" (Positions and Proper Motion)
catalog. It contains the positions of 468,586 stars as of 2000 (julian
date 2451545.) and the first order approximation of their proper
    motions.

The names of the stars are not included in the database, so you're
    on your own after that.
