Sorry to cause confusion. The original post #9098 mentions fomalhault, 09-00Hrs. 13 July 2009. My posting #9122 made very late at night with brain at barely tickover, gave GHA actually for 2009 (correctly) but then mentions 2008 in the next sentence - must have been a typo. I also used 39 degrees for Lat in Hughes calculation instead of 40 degrees in error, (corrected later). ========= So for the record; 'ICE' v0.5. gives for fomalhault at 09-00 Hrs. 13 July; 2008: GHA 82-04.8 Declination S29-34.4 2009: GHA 81-49.6 Declination S29-34.0 These values can be expected to be the same as found in the Nautical Almanac for those years. =============== Douglas Denny.
