Greg has provided a link to SS orbit. I'm having some trouble understanding the information therein.
They say GMT and Sidereal Time how do I understand this?
Also the Longitudes they put out seem to be a system I am unfamiliar with as it told me Chile was at something like 270 deg. Can anyone help there.
I no longer believe my tenative Lat of 45 N Lon 105 W is in any way correct.
I am struggling to establish a coordinate system on the photo. I still think my identification the stars is correct but who knows. The Dec scale looks good but RA is conflicted. Is it star identification?? My planetarium program ( Red Shift ) is giving me conflict with Nautical Almanac for the moon position so I'm still a bit lost.
