I'm startled to see square roots in 4th place and not in second place.  Isn't a square root simply exponentiation to the 1/2 power??

I'll also note that the items under a square root are generally treated as in parentheses, ie, you evaluate everything under the square root sign (including its horizontal bar) before taking the root.

Just for then fun one other phrase
In The Netherlands I learned at school, 55 years before, the phrase.
Meneer Van Dalen Wacht Op Antwoord.   Free translated: Mister Van Dalen Waits On Answer
    1e Machtsverheffen      ^
    2e Vermenigvuldigen     ·
    3e Delen                        /
    4e Worteltrekken
    5e Optellen                    +
    6e Aftrekken                   -
But then there where not yet electronic calculators or computers,
they work on there own rules, from left to right.
