Greg, > I get 8 images of the Sun when no shading is used. > In groups of 2, 3, and 3. Now I understand that your Bris (which apparently has 2 glasses) must be different from the standard (original) one which has 3 glasses, including the shade. Reflection from the back surface of the shade must be also counted, of course. Still I don't understand how 3 bright and 5 dim images were formed (years ago) in my Bris. According to my count it should be 3+8. What do you mean by "groups 2,3,3"? You group by brightness, or by angluar separation? I tried to wipe the inner surfaces with a piece of cloth, using a needle. but even the fine needle does not penetrate the part of the gap near the acute angle. Alex.
