Hi Larry,
I only cheated a little bit ;-) I use my app to check my work and a GPS to see how good I'm doing. What was done for this flight was a pre-calculation for five bodies every four minutes for the entire flight so that no math except for simple interpolation by eye is needed. I did altitude graphs also which worked but were no faster than interpolating the pre-calculations. My final approach with the Moon on the beam as we latitude sailed to Orlando over the waters of the gulf of Mexico was most gratifying. I did also photo copy just the pages I needed from 249 vol. 1. and just in case a 2102-D was handy but not needed. DR and ETA was done by slide rule (K&E 4080-3). This was the most fun I have ever had on a commercial flight :)
Greg
P.S. What would be fun would be an all NavList CN trip on one of your regular flights.
