Question for the list.
I often hear that the quality of C.Plath Sextants
declined after 1962 when Litton Industries purchased the company. Spurious sour
grapes or is there any truth to this matter. One thing I do believe for certain
is that the quality seemed to decline after 1993 when they made a number of
"improvements" to the design.
Comments?
(I ask because I am seriously considering the
purchase of a 1950's era C.Plath. Can't have enough of them now can
I?)
