Jeremy, Here is a table for Motion Of the Observer correction for 18 knots and 5 minutes. The first row is the relative azimuth for bodies ahead of the beam and the sign is plus (+) The second row is the size of the correction in minutes of arc. At 18 knots the maximum correction, which is for bodies straight ahead or straight behind, for a 5 minute period is 1.5'. The correction is always zero for bodies exactly on the beam. The third row is the relative azimuth for bodies abaft the beam and the sign is minus (-). + 0 15 26 34 40 46 51 55 60 64 68 73 77 80 84 88 1.5 1,4 1.3 1.2 1.1 1.0 .9 .8 .7 .6 .5 .4 .3 .2 .1 0 - 180 165 154 146 140 134 129 125 120 116 112 107 103 100 96 92 gl
