Hello Jim,
The message you have comes from the fact that 'java.exe' is not in your
path, for some reason.
To fix this situation, you have several solutions.

You need to know where java has been installed.
Let's say it is in C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin, which could be
the case.
If you don't know, start a find on your system, looking for 'java.exe'.
Then from a DOS prompt, (Start | Programs | Accessories| Command
prompt), enter the following command:
Prompt> C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin\java -version

If this works (ie you do not have the same message as before), it means
that java is here and ok.
If not, you will need to tell me more about your machine...

Then, two solutions:
A first one is to edit and modify the celest.bat you started the story
from, by adding at its top the following line:

set PATH="C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin";%PATH%

which tells to the OS to also look in this directory whenever a command
is requested, like 'java'.
Then save the file, and run it again.

Another possibility is to modify the PATH at the system level (I'd
recommend this solution, if  java is to be used from some other
applications).
To do so, go to "My Computer" on your desktop, and right-click on it. Go
to "Properties", at the bottom.  Then choose the "Advanced" tab. Click
the "Environment Variables" button. Then, for the user or for the system
(your choice. I'd go for the system one.), look for the PATH variable,
and edit it (Edit button). Then add at the beginning of the string the
path chunk we've mentioned:
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin (no surrounding quotes), and click
OK, OK, OK, to exit all the dialog boxes that remain opened.
If you have a dos window opened, close it, and open another one to take
your environment modification in account.
In the Command window, type 'java - version', it should now work.

Please let me know if this fixes your problem or not...
