Byron: Class Notes. I am sending Class Notes that I use in the "Seamen's Church
Institute" as I use my STAR FINDER for training. This is on using the SUN for the body, to fill in the sight form. The Star Finder is used to track the SUN as it moves along our horizon, in term of GMT, bearing and ALT. The start horizon information can be determined in many ways. I used the Nautical Almanac SUNRISE in this example. I also checked with HO.71 and even the Newspaper for SUNRISE. It was accurate for my purpose. All of the Class Note will end up on a C/D to go with the sales of my STAR FINDER. If any NAVLIST has suggestion please list them. My goal is to make Celestial easy, interesting and include the science to anyone that is interested in our SKY.
