Since we are on it... Personally, I have no problem with recognizing deg or d or even ° for degree. What causes me more trouble are time formats like "10pm EST" or Yankee. It would be much more comfortable to have something like "1900 UTC -4". The same goes with dates: 03-04-05 doesn't do it, is it march, april or even may? So please can we use the (abbreviated) name of the month? I'have a little puzzle about formating here: What means 9/V-45г. to you?
