    Chauvenet paper.
    From: George Huxtable
    Date: 2004 Oct 7, 00:21 +0100

I hope most of you that received a copy of the Chauvenet paper successfully
have managed to translate into a readable image of the text.

Jan Kalivoda tells me that he needed to rename the files with a .TIF suffix
    and then it became easy.

For those whose messages bounced (and I've written to them), on request I
will resend, but it may be easier to take the files from Frank Reed's
    website at-

    http://www.HistoricalAtlas.com/chauvenet

I am grateful to Frank for posting it up.

    George.
