Yes, the CB-1 wind scales are completely different from the CR-1, somewhat reminiscent of the American Airlines computers, but different again.
They are mentioned as copyrighted by a C.J.B. Bassett, but I have not been able to find anything about this man or the copyright (other than references to the actual copyrights). I have not been able to find a patent covering these scales.
I'll scan and post the relevant pages of the
manual sometime over the next week or so.
