I'm looking for a proper English translation of the official accident report on the Costa Concordia incident (in case you've forgotten, here's a Wikipedia summary). The translation provided by the Italian "MIT Marine Casualties Investigative Body" is a mess. Here is a sample paragraph from that report:

Some passengers claimed about the shore side reception, which was inadequate according with their opinion, because they caught an overall disorganization. We respect their thought/opinion, evidently, they ignore to have approached in an little island, where the inhabitants are less than the persons arrived by the Concordia; that’s why the support for those passengers, disembarked above all before midnight, could not match their expectations.

Clearly a poor translation. I get the gist of this, of course, and I can read enough Italian to follow the original, but surely on an accident of this scale there is somewhere a translation that Italian to English is goodly done not that is nor so bad written made. È vero?
