It not only has an alphabetic index, but also indexes on 24 different topics like almanacs, instruments and navigation. I found it by placing a want on AbeBooks, but it still lasted half a year or so before one came available only slightly cheaper than the one you found. Currently AbeBooks has one listed at US$562.50, bit more expensive than the one you have found. My advice is: go for it (perhaps as a birthday present? It is only in dollars after all ;-)).
