Recently, we were discussing effect of wind and current. Actually, I believe we still are. It was suggested that Force = mass X velocity. Also, that Power = velocity squared. (or is it mass X velocity X velocity?) First, is this stated properly by me. Second, can these notions be expressed in a way that my uneducated brain can grasp? Well, an unfair question. How could you possibly know what my brain will grasp? It is even a mystery to me. A clue might be that I had no trouble visuallizing George H. dragging his 4 ft board through the water behind his submarine. Perhaps this example could be expanded to relate the difference between force and power.
