These delta-T fits are the ones I have use for the past 6 months or so.
They are claimed to be accurate within 1 second of time or so. Anyway, Jean Meeus uses them for his Canon of Solar Eclipses which he recently computed and published jointly with an Astronomer from NASA. If Jean Meeus uses them, do not hesitate : do exactly the same as he does !
For the future ... we will see. Just in case, I suggest that you prompt for your computed delta-T value at some point in your calculations and if you R/S without entering anything, such already prompted value is to be used. If you manually enter any different value then - just to cover the possible future case you just mentionned - such manually entered value will be used instead.
