Doug Royer asked this sensible question about my recent posting- >1 question: >w = 90*(1-SGN............ >What does SGN mean? ======================= Sorry, Doug, I should have explained. SGN(y) is the SIGN function in many (perhaps all) implementations of BASIC. If y is positive then SGN(y) = +1 If y is zero then SGN(y) = 0 If y is negative then SGN(y) = -1 Hope that helps, George. ================================================================ contact George Huxtable by email at george@huxtable.u-net.com, by phone at 01865 820222 (from outside UK, +44 1865 820222), or by mail at 1 Sandy Lane, Southmoor, Abingdon, Oxon OX13 5HX, UK. ================================================================
