An interesting note: The GPS clock is some fifteen or so seconds off of UT1, and the correction factor is transmitted by the satellites to the receiver so the receiver can display the "correct" time. I also checked these clocks against standard stations WWV and CHU and I can say that everything appears to be synchronized to within about half of a second.
