Re: Digital archive for Journal of Navigation
    From: George Huxtable
    Date: 2010 Mar 30, 00:13 +0100

I think Byron Franlin may have been trying to contact me directly, without
    success.

My home email address is george@hux.me.uk , which in case it was
deliberately obscured I wrote instead as george-at-hux.me.uk.

I have a copy of the (US) Institute of Navigation's CD selecting items
relevant to celestial navigation from their journal, "Navigation", and two
of those items have Byron Franklin as an author.

But I doubt whether any of those items would be found in the DVD (or pair
of CDs) from the (British) Royal Institute of Navigation, which contains
the complete contents of "The Journal of Navigation", which is an
altogether different journal. The similarity of the names of those two
institutions, and the names of their journals, gives rise to quite a lot of
    confusion.

    George.

    contact George Huxtable, at george@hux.me.uk
    or at +44 1865 820222 (from UK, 01865 820222)
or at 1 Sandy Lane, Southmoor, Abingdon, Oxon OX13 5HX, UK.

I tried to send to you direct EMAIL. That did'nt work.
I at one time was a member of the US journal. I had many articles in the US
    journal, and the Newsletter.
I own a copy of the US CD from the institute of Navigation. I have some
    articles in that also.
I just wonder if the your CD has any of my input. The Franklin Piloting,
    The Franklin Radar, Special Radar.
or any of my other writings?
Sometime I has co-author with Ernest Brown of the Navigation Science,of
Oceangraphic office. DC. Thank you Byron Franklin QMCM (SS)
