For those "back east", who might want to play around with a mirror artificial horizon, here is the name of a local (Pittsburgh, PA). I don't know if they do mail orders, but I cannot see why they wouldn't. Don't know what shipping charges might be, but I purchased today for $37 and change, tax included a 10" x 10" mirror that the vendor claims is a "first surface/front silvered" mirror, cut while I waited around. Took about 15 or so minutes. The sellers name is Emerald Art Glass. 2300 Josephine Street, Pittsburgh, PA 412-381-2274.
While $35 is not the end of the earth, I do hope that the thing works, as that amount of money, possibly a bit less could buy some pretty good scotch, and I alreaddy have a well mounted shaving mirror.
By the way, Mr. Morrow's mechanical efforts are certainly impressive.
