On a recent visit to France, I noticed that new Ebbco plastic sextants were on sale in chandlers, but now under the "Plastimo" label. Although it was kept behind glass, so it was hard to see the details, it appeared that one of the weaker points of the previous Ebbco production, the poor positioning of the adjusting screws for the horizon mirror, had been attended to.
