Apparently the idea of drawing a circle or using a universal plotting sheet has received some amount of acceptance. However, my original question related to: how much error do we get using this method versus plotting sine curves (however broad) or consulting Meeus. Did I miss a posting, or are there any other ideas? Ken Gebhart
