While looking around the USNO site for confirmation that a new Explanatory Supplement to the Astronomical Almanac is in work, I stumbled across lists of errata for both printings of the 1992 revision, the one we've been talking about. My excuse for not finding this earlier is that it's well hidden. You have to follow USNO's link to the publisher. Only when you get to their site do you realize there are errata lists! http://www.uscibooks.com/seid.htm Oh, about the next revision, USNO says, "Astronomers from around the world are assisting the almanac offices at USNO and HMNAO to prepare the next revision of the book." No timetable is given, however.
