Dave,
I just tried saving the spreadsheet in .xls format and Excel threw up a bunch of warnings about "serious loss of functionality". The "slicers" (country/city filters) on the G.C. route tab disappeared. The almanac still seemed to function - as did the buttons. But I'm not sure what else might have been broken, so I'd rather not put the converted version out there. Sorry.
